ALUMINUM INSULATION JACKETING

ALUMINUM INSULATION JACKETING

aluminum insulation jacketingWhat is the aluminum insulation jacketing ?
Aluminum insulation jacketing is the premier protective outer surface covering for mechanical insulation systems including pipe, vessels, and equipment. It protects the insulation and underlying pipe/vessel from physical damage, UV exposure, corrosive atmospheres, and water. Signi Aluminum's Aluminium Jacketing is manufactured from wrought aluminum alloy 1100 1200 3003 or 3105 meeting ASTM standard B209 with an H14 H16 H24 or H26 temper. Signi Aluminium's Aluminum insulation jacketing is available with a Stucco embossed, Coated/painted, Corrugated, Kraft paper, Mill finish, Polysurlyn moisture retarder. The properties of these aluminum alloys provide the required strength to resist in-service abuse, but can be easily fabricated and installed. The attractive mill finish maintains its sharp appearance, a necessity for any insulation project.
Aluminum insulation jacket thickness and application

More commonly used aluminum insulation jacketing  thickness between 0.3mm to 0.8mm,different thickness of aluminum insulation jacketing and different applications, most aluminum insulation jacketing is used in pipes fittings and equipment, marine, chemical, industrial environments, or in industries processing food or beverages. for example,Corrugated aluminum roll jacketing is usually used in pipe system in industry or building. Aluminum has an excellent resistance to corrosion which reduces cost through long service, without maintenance or painting. The details are as follows:

  1. - 016" (0.4mm): Considered the standard for industrial use and recommended on pipelines up to 24" O.D., which includes the insulation. Primarily used to protect piping, vessels, and tanks that are less than 8 feet in diameter.
  2. - 020" (0.5mm): Applicable for insulation lines up to 36" O.D., including insulation. Primary use to protect towers, vessels, and tanks with a diameter greater than 8 feet.
  3. - 024" (0.6mm): Heavier gauge roll jacketing where extra strength and protection is required.
  4. - 032" (0.8mm): For areas where extra protection is required, or in custom fabrication of Box covers, tank heads, or heavy wear areas.
Why choose the Signi Aluminium's aluminum insulation jacketing
Signi Aluminium is a professional manufacturer of aluminum insulation jacketing.Signi Aluminium's aluminum insulation jacketing used aluminum roll jacketing alloy is 1100,1200,3003,3005,conforming to ASTM B-209 designation, and the aluminum insulation jacketing thickness from 0.4mm to 1.5mm ,The tolerances is +-0.02mm.half-hard temper (H-14) and heavier gauges-hard (H-12 lock-forming quality). Commercially pure aluminum is relatively soft as structural material. Its strength can be greatly improved by alloying aluminum with small percentages of one or more other elements such as manganese, silicon, copper, magnesium, or zinc. Additional strength can be achieved by cold working, such as cold rolling.
